Grassroots advocacy is about finding strength in numbers – and harnessing that strength to influence public opinion and government action. Associations often run grassroots campaigns to engage members and other stakeholders in policy debates. 

Learn from your colleagues about the grassroots advocacy strategies and tools they are utilizing and how to deploy them most effectively. 

Studies done by the Congressional Management Foundation have shown that most people contacting elected officials said they had been asked to do so by a third party –primarily interest groups.
